Ransack Comedy.

I ate Ben & Jerry's ice cream on Sunday thanks to Yiling's incessant whining that we absolutely should select B&J over Gloria Jeans and Starbucks. Which is quite a mistke because that lame cone costs like $5.90 and I couldn't taste a thing because of my flu. But anyways, I enjoy wasting my Sunday nights with her. (So don't kill me okay babe. Just because you still remember every detail from Bruce Almighty and happen to be BHB doesn't mean you're a loser :P)

Today, my mum bought a watch for me, despite our early morning quarrel over me not answering her questions all the time. That's only because she talks to me at weird timings like 8am or 10am, and I never talk to anyone at such timings. Totally wanted to explain to her that it's not her, it's me, but fuck it, it was 10am and I couldn't be bothered. After which came 1pm and I was ready to open my golden mouth, and requested for her to buy me a watch.

I have wanted a gold vintage watch since forever, but recently I spotted people wearing all kinds of funky digital watches, like lime green watches, or shiny black digital watches. The next-to-final blow came when one of my ang moh customer walked into my shop with a mind-numbingly sweet candy pink digital watch (guys who love pink are so cool). The final blow came when a Malay friend wore a black Baby G which caught my heart. So I was super determined to get a watch.

My mum saw through my evil plot. While I was considering between a discounted $78 bright orange watch and the $118 black one...

Woman in charge of shop (a.k.a WICOS): I think the orange one nicer.
Mom: Black one nicer la.
Me: I like both leh.
WICOS: Orange one more suitable for you.
Me: Is it?!
Mum: Aiya, you want orange one then buy orange one la, cheaper somemore, I no need pay so much.
WICOS: Oh, you paying ah?
Mum (agitated liao): OF COURSE LA, IF NOT YOU THINK SHE COME OUT WITH ME FOR WHAT.

Tamade. Ming ming I got accompany her to NTUC one lor. Now is what. I is money minded insect meh.

Okay. Now I am going to move on to my hair. Awhile ago during New Year's Day Luting took a photo of my hair. I kind of like it.

However I think the light accentuated the colour, and it is actually not this colour, but somewhat darker. So I hope to dye it to this colour soon. Yet I am quite tired of people calling me an ah lian because of my hair colour, so maybe I should forget about it and just dye it black or something.

K. I have to get on with my work. My project is to create a poster of anything, and I have chosen to do a movie poster for Requiem of a Dream. And I am so not looking forward to D-DAY a.k.a Friday a.k.a Getting-A-Level-results-Day a.k.a The Day Jia Ru Commits Suicide. Oh and if anyone is interested in mass suicide do contact me. We can all go to a nearby HDB, link hands and jump together. Of course, you don't have to contact me nowww, I mean, we don't know the outcome yet do we, but if you are interested you can always look for me on Friday. Just rub your left bum thrice and call my name, and I'll be there.
